A new sewage lift station (1,375 gpm firm capacity) with triplex submersible pumps located in a precast concrete wet well, a valve vault structure designed as occupied space, and associated pipe, valves, fittings, and site grading. 

Funding

The City secured Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan of $14,855,000 and a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan of $9,800,000 to assist with water distribution and sewer collection master planning projects.  This project is solely a sewer collection system project and adequate CWSRF loan funds are available for this project.

Why It's Needed
This project provides urban growth boundary build-out capacity for continued growth to the airport area commercial and industrial lands. City has a rapidly developing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) test range and is currently investing in the construction of an UAS industrial park. The UAS test range is recognized by the City and State of Oregon as a long-term economic development engine for the Pendleton community, creating very well paying jobs that will provide investment into the Pendleton community.
