Major elements of work for the project include Relocation of the Runway 29 Threshold, construction of two new Runway 29 connector Taxiways, associated Medium Intensity Runway Lighting (MIRL) and Runway 29 and taxiway signage improvements, Runway 29 Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) relocation and replacement, Runway 29 REIL relocation and replacement, and associated electrical improvements, excavation and site grading of runway and taxiway shoulder and safety areas, and associated drainage improvements. This project also includes the construction of four new hangar taxilanes, full depth rehabilitation of three existing hangar taxilanes, and rehabilitation (asphalt overlay) of existing apron pavements, associated drainage improvements, and associated taxilane shoulder and safety area grading.
