SE Byers Avenue & SE 4th Street Reconstruction

Paving on Byers Avenue

Replaces and rebuilds Byers Avenue from Southeast 7th Street to Main Street, and Southeast 4th Street from Southeast Byers Avenue to Southeast Court Avenue, including pavement and storm drainage, using 2,400 tons of asphalt. This project includes removing and replacing approx. 4,300 feet of curb and gutter, 1,700 yards of sidewalk, 400 yards of concrete driveway approaches, 567 yards of ADA ramps.

Paving work completed.  Punch list work continues –  raising the manholes from under pavement and installing the manhole lids, then concreting around the manhole lids to street level; locate wire being readjusted in the valve cans; signage installation; and any necessary striping, including stop bar designations.
